About a month ago, a few girlfriends and I took a two-hour ride to Woodville California to frolic in the warm sun and beautiful flower fields…and because I fancy myself as a blogger and sunflower posts were blowing up my Instagram feed at the time, I of course had to partake in this summer photoshoot trend. (pictures coming up!).
I’ve never seen so many sunflowers in my life and since yellow is one of my favorite colors, I couldn’t help from smiling the entire time. Miles of these yellow beauties provided the perfect summer backdrop to go with my all white outfits. I accessorized with comfy heels, vintage earrings and colored shades that have major 90’s vibes.
I rocked rose tinted suglasses the entire day! <3 In all honesty, the only thing that was a slight bother were the swarms of bees that were going ham pollenating, and due to my extreme fear of being stung, I made sure to give these honey-making heroes the space they needed. I’ve only been stung by a bee once in my life and it was a horrible but hilarious experience. After a while, the sun started to beat down so I threw on a huge floppy hat for some shade. I’ve always like the look of these hats in pictures but surprisingly its tough to find one that doesn’t look too silly. Along with my two dresses, all nabbed from Nordstrom Rack FYI. Seriously, that place is one of my favorite spots to shop in SF; I always end up finding unique pieces at a steal!
