New Years Eve Glam | Three Vintage Looks

It’s a fact, the way you spend your New Years sets the tone for the rest of your year right? At least thats what I’ve been told growing up; and why I always wear lucky polka dots and have cash in my pockets once the clock strikes midnight (its a filipino tradition).

For 2018 I’m hoping for a year filled with good friends, family, and amazing fashion! In collaboration with emerging vintage retailer Covetedge; I have three gorgeous New Years inspired looks to share.

When choosing a vintage going-out ensemble sequin and sparkle is always the way to go! This 80’s dress is covered in unique multi-colors and fine beading, you can’t help be the center of attention in this outfit 🙂 Styled with a matching beret kept the dress casual for the day and when the hat comes off, party time!

This golden look is part a 5 piece set (3 being shown) by SF local husband and wife team Jeanne-Marc. This fashionable duo hit it big during the 70s,  80s, and 90’s, known for their vibrant use of color and patchwork. Since all of these pieces are stunning on their own, adding basic pumps and black clip-on earrings was enough to complete the look. The gold threading throughout the corset and wrap creates a delicate lace-like pattern, such amazing handiwork!

This periwinkle sweater with beautiful silver embellishments is the definition of a statement piece. The subtle shimmer gives the top that extra glam factor and it’s easily paired with jeans, leggings, or a simple skirt. Its also rare to find a vintage off the should top which makes this piece even more special.

There you have it 😀 three glitz and glam looks perfect for New Years Day or for celebrating the night before. I love shopping vintage and finding clothes that are beautifully made and one-of-a-kind like all of these pieces from Covetedge.

Their studio shop and online store is still in the works and will be up and running Spring 2018! In the meantime find them on instagram and at A Current Affair in Richmond CA on March 3rd.

Out of the three, let me know in the comments what outfit is your favorite!
